Rebecca Pappas

In 2015 I created Rounding Monument Circle, a series of four public processions in downtown Indianapolis. They were part of Spark: Monument Circle, a large-scale residency produced by Big Car Collaborative, a fluxus inspired group focused on creative placemaking and socially engaged art in the city of Indianapolis. These public practice works asked participants to see their city space in a new way. Processions depicted below include: Soldiers and Sailors, Shared Labors, Five Senses, and Noise Parade.
